Silly me...

I have been noticing that my hearing has been a little fuzzy recently so I got myself to Boots The Chemist to get some ear wax remover. Which you will agree is sensible, I'm not clogging up the NHS with my clogged up ears.

I followed the instructions and waited for sound to become sharper.

I'm still waiting. In fact I am now existing in a muffled world, I slept through my alarm clock and have spent the day saying "Eh?" rather too much for a non-Canadian.

So I'm off to the doctors on Monday morning... ho hum.

So if you could all speak a little louder that would be helpful.

Listen, I'll do your ears myself if you'll get Constantine over to my blog to talk to me. Can you arrange it, O Radio Goddess?

*speaks up* Poor Biddy. Glad you're 'doctoring' now, though there was nothing wrong with the original idea....

Sucks to be you, EH?

Donna the Canadian

p.s. if you want to sound like you're from western Canada, just interchange "eh" for "is that right?"

You're half deaf, I'm mostly blind. Now we just need someone who mumbles with a lisp.

Biddy, hope you got your hearing sorted. I was in denial over mine for years and the hearing aid (despite my initial wail of "I can't have a hearing aid in my 30s, they're for old people") has made a huge difference. So make sure you get a proper hearing test and Listen To The Audiologist...
