The Heroine Addicts, Tudor Dudes and other stuff

I am over at The Heroine Addicts talking about refilling the well. I have definitely been burning the candles at both ends recently and am feeling it. It is getting in the way of the revising of my YA novel 'The Stone Voice' but I have a new deadline... I have entered it in the Golden Heart contest run by the Romance Writers of America. This means it needs to be in peak condition by the end of November. Doable? Yes but I need to start pacing myself!

As a way to refill my well (see heroine addicts blogpost) I spent this past Saturday at Hampton Court Palace with the lovely Julie Cohen. She needed to do some research for the book she is writing and I needed to get out of town. I am sure Julie will tell more about our tour which included Tudor dudes, Tudor dude's calves, wine fountains and lots of 'Yeah baby'... oh and a Seymour Sandwich.
