Planning

What I took away from this year's RNA Conference (other than lots of books and notes) was the realisation that I was going to have to get down to some planning.

sigh

I plan all day in my day job so I should be good at it. The problem is I look at my work and am overcome with a feeling of panic. I am immobilised by indecision and what seems like an insurmountable exercise.

I know what I should be doing, breaking each bit into manageable chunks, a step at a time, exactly the way I tell trainee project managers to do in my day job. But this isn't some database that is being built. This isn't some building that is being refurbished. This is MY wip. Mine.

((Biddy)) There is no right way to write. YOu can have a detailed outline or a very light sketch. The aount of planning is up to you but your plan has to be flexible.
