Sheesh... make one post and then minutes later a text!

Baby Nathaniel came into the world at 3.59am this morning weighing in at a whopping 8lbs 8oz!!

The world is waiting on news of Julie and the bump. Anna Lucia and I are attempting to keep everyone updated but sadly Julie's blog keeps locking Anna out of comments!!!

Bumps

The bump is still with Julie we did try talking firmly to it and explained about how some guests oustay their welcome.

Hasn't worked yet.

The only other bumps worth speaking of is the pre-Christmas tummy I am developing, of course that is the same bump that I have had since summer, spring and last Christmas *sigh* I see running in my future.

Checking Up On Pregnant Person

I was VERY well behaved on Saturday night no matter what Liz says!!

Christmas Drinkies

I am off in a minute for some Chrimbo drinkies at the wonderful Liz's. I will of course be extremely wellbehaved. Well I have to be as I need to be on a train to Cobham at 8pm.

Any gossip, news etc will be reported back. As you were.

In Need of Serenity...

Sometimes someone sends you something that is serendipitous in timing. I have been less than serene for the past few weeks and today has been quite wobbly, Michelle Styles sent me this and it hit the spot. Still wobbly but working towards serene, I figure even if you don't believe there is still a message there.


The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world

What Happened To This Year????

One minute it was summer and now we are in December... and I'm not quite sure how that happened!! I mean I KNOW how it happened, a Physics A'Level means I have some clue about this stuff. However I am wondering whether working too much has an effect on the Time-Space continuum???

Anyway... enough of that! What is now looming in front of me is the whole Christmas thing. Anna Lucia is the Queen of Christmas and revels in the whole thing whilst I love Christmas but just can't get organised. As soon as I have to buy presents for people my mind goes blank, my palms sweat and I start think that various bits of awful knitwear are EXACTLY what people want *sigh*

So how do you deal with the present buying minefield?
